Hey there Through the Eyes of the Mrs. readers!
I am so excited to be here today! Thanks so much for having me, Beth!

My name is Kara and I am a wife to my best friend and a mommy to a sassy and sweet 3 year old. I am also the blogger behind Mine for the Making where I share crafts, tutorials, recipes, home improvement projects, mommy adventures, printables, frugal decorating, organizational tips, and ideas for teaching.  I am a former teacher recently turned stay-at-home-mom and am totally loving it, but am constantly looking for ways to keep busy! Thank goodness for blogland and Pinterest, right? : )

Here are a few of my favorite projects and recipes you can find over at MFTM…
Placemat Pillows

Learn how to make cute pillows out of placemats. I found these placemats at the dollar store!

                                                                                           Busy Bags

A great way to keep your busy kidlets engaged in learning fun while on the go.
I even use them as a “center” during homeschooling.

Pumpkin Poop for the kiddos
(along with other “poop” for the other holidays)

Halloween Countdown Mini Chalkboard Pumpkin

A cheap and easy how-to for a fun, kid-friendly Halloween countdown pumpkin.

Black & White Houndstooth Halloween Printable

I love creating printables to decorate my home with and to give as gifts.
I share them for free with my readers.

Chicken Bacon Alfredo Pizza

This is a semi-homemade recipe that your family is sure to love!

I would {♥} for you to stop by Mine for the Making
sometime to snoop around and say hi or to link up at my fashion linky party, DIY Diva Thursdays!
You can also check out my etsy shop where I make affordable, lovely, handmade hair accessories and jewelry for girls of all ages. Last but not least, you can also find me on facebook featuring lots of fun ideas and pinterest pinning like a wild woman!
Thanks for having me today, Beth!

Isn’t she talented? Thank You Kara!
Pretty sure I’m trying her Pizza Recipe soon!
Make sure you come & see me with a fab tutorial at Kara’s place
