We are busy preparing for Brianna turning five. She is having an Enchanted Garden Party. Complete with fairy and gnome gardens. I'm going to share with you how to make your own Gnome for your little ones enchanted garden.
Minwax Wood Filler
Jigsaw or Handsaw
Isn't he the cutest little gnome? I will share more about how to create a gnome garden soon and where I picked up these little cuties. To begin your garden door you need to piece together your Popsicle sticks. I started by using two Popsicle sticks on the back to hold the front in place. It looks best if you off set your sticks as well. Wood glue is all that was used at this time and I let the door dry overnight.
After the wood glue is dry I took my jigsaw to the door and cute the shape I wanted for the top of the door. I then began to fill in the cracks with Minwax Wood Filler. I allowed that to dry and later went back and completed the doors with a dark walnut Stain. After drying completely the doors looked amazing and were ready to be added to our Gnome Gardens. I can't wait to share more of our Fairy and Gnome Gardens!
